About Us
We only work with drivers. That is the whole point.
A general accountant sees maybe a handful of drivers a year and treats you like any other sole trader. We see nothing else — so we already know how your statements are laid out and what your council charges for a plate.
Why we started
The clearest example is Uber’s service fee. It never lands in your bank account, so it does not feel like a cost — and drivers filing their own returns routinely leave it out altogether. For someone driving full-time that is thousands of pounds a year of tax relief, given up for no reason.
That is a failure of explanation, not a failure of the driver. So we built a practice that does one thing: accounting for people who drive for a living, explained properly.
How we work
You get a named accountant, not a ticket number. Fixed fees, so you always know what you are paying. And no charge for asking a question — because when people think a phone call will be billed, they stop calling, and that is exactly when expensive mistakes happen.
We will also tell you when you do not need something. If a limited company would not save you money this year, we will say so, even though we would earn more if you set one up. We would rather have you as a client for a decade than sell you something that does not pay for itself.
What we promise
- Plain English, every time. If we use a piece of jargon, we explain it
- A straight answer, including when the answer is not what you hoped
- No judgement about the state of your paperwork. We have seen worse
- Every deadline met, with reminders well in advance
- Fixed fees agreed up front, never an hourly bill you cannot predict
- We tell you when you do not need a service we sell
